Questions

What is public warehousing?

Public warehousing means you rent space in a shared warehouse by the pallet, square foot or month, and the warehouse staff receive, store and ship your goods. You pay only for what you use, with no long lease.

How much does warehouse storage cost?

It varies a lot by city and service. Our cost guide has dated estimate ranges per pallet and per square foot. Always get 2–3 written quotes that include handling fees.

Are all these warehouses open to new customers?

No. Some are private distribution centers that only handle one company’s goods. The listing shows what public records say; call the company to ask.
